Question SU Carburettor Mod

I've been thinking about converting my 1980 12A to twin SU sidedraught carbs, and I'm just wondering if this has ever been done before. I've been using SUs on piston engines for quite a while now and I prefer using them over webers.
If so can anyone get me some data on the setup that has been used (size and needle).

I've never seen it done. But it probably has been.

Why do prefer SUs to Webbers?

I have been of no help sorry,

the only place ive ever heard of using them was HRE Rotary. (is that the right name?) I cant find the website right now. But they are in the UK, and they also build the 6-rotor 12a's, if that helps at all.

Someone here on the Board bought a set last year and was going to use them, But never did. I think he sold it on. Hit the Seach, you should be able to find it.
