Stupid question but I can't find an answer...

What does RE-EGI mean? I know it's the kind of 13b the 85 GSL-SE came with, and wikipedia lists it as such, but I can't find out what RE-EGI actually does. Wikipedia's page on rotaries doesn't iunclude an entry for RE-EGI. Can anyone enlighten me?

Something along the lines of Rotary Engine - Electronic Gasoline Injection. Same as EFI Electronic Fuel Injection.
