Strut housing/spindle bent?

Do you guys come across bent spindles/strut housings often? Does any company offer a replacement, or can you buy this assembly new?

Only time I have seen the spindle or housing bent is from an accident.

Don't believe their are any aftermarket suppliers for the strut housing.

Blackdragonauto offers them if you are willing to give up a major organ.LOL!
You can try www.mazdaautoparts.com if you are looking for new. They are a discount Mazda parts supplier.
Other than that post up a WTB in the classifieds is probably going to be the best bet.

Don't know what your situation is (your housing?, recent damage?, already on the car?, etc.), but some of them were bent intentionally to increase negative camber for racing. This was the poor man's alternative to camber plates and adj lower control arms. (The downside is that it narrows the clearance between the tire and the strut housing, requiring a wheel spacer or increased offset to compensate).

Hmm, thanks. Seems my previous two 1st gen's had at least one bent spindle/strut housing. It might've been something else though...
