Strut assembly

is the strut holder assembly different from a 1984 gslse model than from the earlier 80's models? i need a strut holder because my bearing went bad and welded itself to the spindle. so i need a new holder, but i wanna know if i can use any 80's year rx7 or do i have to use my specific year and model strut holder? thanks

1979 and 1980 are the same. 1981 through 1983 are the same and 1984 through 1985 are the same. So you will need one from a 84 or 85.

The caliper bracket is different but is a bolt on piece.
