stripped exhause stud or bolt!!! HELPME!!!

Angry stripped exhause stud or nut! HELPME!!!

help me quickly i don't know what to do and this piece of **** is my daily driver!!!
i was taking off my exhaust manifold to put my header on and the last nut i try to get off just stops comming at the verry end of the threds so it just spins there now is the nut or stud stripped and now i cant get it off or back on so i can't drive the car at all some one help me please!!!!

Best I can tell you is to put some vice grips on the nut and pull and turn at the same time. I have used this method before to take off stripped nuts off of threads. You will probably have to buy a new stud, Ace hardware is where i get my studs and bolts from.

Anytime you mess with exhausts always inticipate stud or bolt problems, its usually a given... Try the pliers or visegrip approach if that dont work, screw the nut back in and buy a tap tahts appropriate for the stud and tap the threads back to where they need to be, then remove the nut...

torch. Heat it up and take it off while its hot. Don't burn your self.

Or try The gator grip. I don't know how they work on rusted bolts. Here is a link to their site though. If you use it, tell us how it works out.
