Streetport in WA?
I really want to streetport my 12a. I dont know too much about rotory engines but am an expeirnced mechanic. Our school has a large metals and autoshop and im wondering how hard it is to do. I dont want to sscrew up my car ya know? also it looks like you have to rebuild the engine if you port it? Is there anywhere in WA that streetports cars? How much?

Atkins (Puyallup http://www.atkinsrotary.com/) and Hayes (Redmond http://www.hayesrotary.com/) Ive heard bad stories about both places. Indeed you will need to rebuild (at least take apart) the engine, so you might as well replace all the seals. You can get templates for the porting, a little patience is all you need. You could always go to the jy and pick up a motor to play with, you can get for less than $200.

You would have to call for a quote but i think they are arounf 2000-2500. The engine from pineaple is defenitley superior over an engine from hays or atkins. If your a pretty competent mechanic you should do it yourself. If you have any other questions feel free to PM me.
