what? I don't understand your one sentence.

Do you want a louder audio system in your car to cover the sound of no cats?
Or you want a audio/sound clip of a exhaust with no cats?

I had a RB header to straight pipe to RB muffler - nothing in between. Everyone was always surprised that it wasn't LOUDER.

Kinda loud doesn't even begin to say how loud the car will be. You WILL get pulled over, probably in the first day of driving. Trust me, I know just how loud these cars are. The first time I started my 12A up, it was only the exhaust manifold on it, no exhaust system. I knew it was going to be loud, so I got ear plugs. They were barely enough. I couldn't even hear myself yelling at my dad to shut down the car. He was reving to 7000 on a cold engine, hence the reason I wanted him to shut it down.

Just so you know, the stock muffler is really buzzy sounding without the cats and its real loud, almost like having no muffler.

my set up is

rb header-custom 2 in to 1 pipes that connect right at the rb muffler

I think it sounds like crap imo, everyone always thinks I'm racing when I shift at 3.5 k

personally I like my friends stock exhaust the best as lame as that sounds as an enthusiest myself.

speaking of I was out driving one night going through the I90 tunnels in seattle with both windows about 3/4 up, I took a wot 3rd gear run to 7,500rpm and just let off the pedel and waited for the backfire.......it sounded like a gun was fired two feet from my head and nearly scared the **** out of my self when I even knew it was coming.

Same thing happened to me, except I was in the middle of the woods and suddenly everything had a hardcore orange glow to it. I didn't warn my friend and he nearly jumped out of the car. Funny ****.

If you leave the stock exhaust mani and straight pipe the cats, it won't sound bad. Once you add headers, it's too loud.

Meh, Full Racing Beat setup, OR..

Header, Borla XR-1 welded inline, and some random muffler on the end. Will be loud, but NOT unbareable. The XR-1 is EXCELLENT.

I have a rotory engineering header and a collecter I got from RB along with a RB silencer then piping to a AeroTurbine Muffler and I register 84-86db at 60ft which is quite loud at WOT. In the cab it can reach up to 95db with the windows down and WOT. It is alot of fun but kinda loud, they don't like me in a city. She sounds about as loud as a hog or harley.

Can anyone speak to the volume of the Racing Beat header, the RB pre-silencer, and then going to a muffler (either stock or Magnaflow)?

what the hell does the rb presilencer do ?
does it hurt hp's ?
does it actually make the exhaust quieter ?
