Stock steering wheel diameter?

what the title says. I just recently purchased a cherry 85 GSL but the big *** stock steering wheel is pinning my left leg against the door, making it tough to shift. (I'm 6'5" 265lbs so yeah....(

I've found some aftermarket ricer ones that fit the hub, but I need at least an inch or two of more clearance. What is the stock steering wheel diameter?

Cars in the shop atm. DO YOU have a tape measure? Anyway I guess this point is moot, any wheel would be better. Maybe I could just cut out the door pull......thing.....on the inside

Hello my fellow vertically inclined RX-7 owner (6'7" 290lbs)

I personally have a smaller than stock Grant GT steering and while it does provide a little more room for my legs it is in my opinion far too small for the RX-7s steering ratio and I find myself constantly trying to adjust the seat and such to find a better seating position that keeps my knees out of the way.

I would suggest looking into something like an NRG deep dish wheel [I hope to get one soon enough] which should provide a large enough wheel as well as those 3" of deep dish to help clear your knees and legs.

I have a 13 inch wheel, and it feels just about perfect to me in terms of size. But I don't have any height issues (I'm only 5'6"), so I can't help you there.

Remove the inner door pull if you have power windows. It works wonders for left leg room.
