OR stock exhaust manifold 12a ----> 13b

I am sure this has been covered before but i could not find it "searched"
Im broke and can't afford to get RB headers yet. I need to use my stock 13b Manifold in my 12a body. The 12a and 13b manifolds don't line up the same to the exhaust. what can be done to make these join?

You could make an adapter plate that will bolt to the 12A studs. Most people do this the other way around, using a 12A mani on a 13B, but with some creativity you could do it. Or go to the wreckers and grab a 12A exhaust manifold. You should be able to pick one up for only a few bucks.

All you have to do to use a 12A manifold on a 13B is slot the stud holes. The exhaust holes are actually halfway in-between 12A spacing and 13B spacing, so it works. You might be able to do the same going the other way around.

I have a 12a manifold. I looked at were it lined up and didn't think it could be modified. I will take another look. Also what about the the small hole that is the difference in the 12a and 13 manifolds?
