Stock base fuel pressure for 84 gsl-se?

I've got the one with the orange top 680 cc injectors. I've searched and can't find any info about the injectors themselves or the base fuel pressure. I'd like to know what pressure the injectors were rated at, and what the base pressure is of the 84 gsl-se. Thanks.

The exact specs can be found per member trochoid profile and clicking on the link to the FSM.

I looked at it and found 28.4-37 psi. That's kind of a large range though...Any further help?

What were you expecting? What do you need to know the fuel pressure for, are you having problems with fuel delivery?

That is the specs depending on with and without vacuum hooked up.
The deadhead pressue is around the 71PSI. The pressure can range from 49-71PSI unregulated.

But as trochoid pointed out, What is the issue?
The are no specs are far as what pressure the injectors are rated at. Injectors are rated at volume, which in this case is 680CC.

I actually need to know this as I'm using the 680 cc injectors on a different car and I'm trying to get them dialed in better. I sent them away to be cleaned and they flowed around 780-800cc/min at 43 psi and using a specific gravity of .70 fluid. The base pressure for the car that I'm putting them on is 37 psi, so they would flow slightly less. The amount the injectors flows depends on the pressure going through them though.

If they flowed at that amount they are not Se injectors.

I pulled all 8 of them off of 84 and 85 gsl-se models and they all have the orange tops. All of the cars were stock as well.

Well, I don't know who is flow testing them but it's not accurate info. I have had more than 20 sets of Se injectors flow tested and the most any of them have ever put out is 700CC, most were at the 680-690cc range.

What was the fuel pressure used for testing? Mine were tested at 43 psi. I'll see if I can find the sheet that has all of the info on it.

Here's a screen capture of the injector flow results that I got. The cleaning and testing was done by CruzinPerformance.

at 3 bar they should be aprox 720. I would have them re-tested and check the part # on the injector its a denzo # and there is a lot of info on them. I have seen some off some early se's that were 800 but they were not orange. they also had a diff part# by the way denzo cross referance on part# says the orange top se injectors are 720cc. mazda rated them at a lower pressure. I think it was 34lbs ?

If they were rated at 34 psi, I think they should flow around 770 cc/min. I found an equation for calculating the flow...

sqrt(43.5/34) * 680 = 769.1

At 33 psi, I get 780 using that equation. I figured out why I was having problems getting them dialed in though...My o2 sensor died so I couldn't get my fuel trims to update. Hopefully tomorrow that'll be fixed though.
