stock 12a fuel system question

Hi guys, put simply; are the factory fuel lines from a 12a SA22 big enough to support a 13b extended port? old and new engines are both n/a, all I've done is pull the one out and drop the other in. Thought I'd better check if the existing fuel lines were up to the task? Not looking forwards to swapping in a 13b fuel tank or removing the existing hoses and sweating some larger diameter ones onto the tank.... thanks in advance

yep. i think the feed line for the 12A is the same 8mm as the GSL-SE.

at some point there is going to be a lot of pressure drop, but its north of the HP you're going to make.

Yes, the 8mm or 5/16" stock fuel send line is big enough. It's the fuel pump itself which needs an upgrade. The stocker isn't really large enough for a stock 12A.

Do you know which carb you're using?

Thanks for the replies, I'm using a 48mm IDA. I have an uprated fuel pump in there already, but I can't remember the specs off hand

Its best to run an independent fuel pump wiring from main fc fuse box to the pump and use the stock fuel pump wire to control a 30/40 amp fuel pump relay.
