I like boost too, and I am not insane. And you should not exceed 120mph in a FB without some changes if you plan to do it long. But regardless of this, due to September 2005 gasoline prices, I am not driving with the turbo on the car currently till or if gas prices are more like they were 1year ago or I have a huge raise OR find a way to get much cheaper fuel then is being sold.

I have a blowthrough, but the operating cost is very high with $2.80/gallon gas. It equates to - $25 for just 80-100 highway miles- NOT city driving -that is even worse!!!! Heck, that used to be my fuel budget for a week that got me further then I would want to go. So unless you drive straight to work and back and not go anywhere else, you will burn a huge hole in your wallet with a turbo on unless its detuned for MPG's

*sigh of relief*

Thank GOD it went to someone who knows what the hell to do with it! I was practically crying knowing that it could potentially go to some random person on eBay. Not to mention the fact it will still "be around" so I can keep dreaming on it.

Mike, I had the available funds when I sent you that PM, but I didnt get a response soon enough so I was forced to do something responsible with it instead. I wish I couldve had your car, its my dream car in the making, but hey, at least I get 38 MPG now

This is what I get for staying away.

At the club BBQ this weekend I heard rumors of "Max7 bought a new toy." No details. So he rolls up to the meet, kick stuff around etc, and then I ask him what he bought.

Then he told me.

My reaction, at first, was "no way...". Then we went up to the garage where it is in hiding and I was all "NO WAY...".

BTW... That f'er is LOUD.
