Sticky apex seals???

Sticky apex seals???

well i changed my oil and put in some MMO for putting my car in storage for when i leave i fired it up to pull it off the ramps
and it ran perfect....last time i drove it it ran like **** can apex springs stick or something like that???

Could have been a number of things really. But yes, seals can stick and then unstick.

Yep, happened to me, too. The car suddenly drives horribly, lumpy idle, lacks power, and won't run smoothly at any RPM range. Local Mazda dealer told me the engine was a goner and would need to replace for $2600 - I told them they were making stuff up. They never could produce compression test results...

The ATF trick later, and the car was running like a new machine - look into it. Don't trust any dealers or their maintenance departments,
