Sterling Carb owners, read this

I'm curious at what everybody who has a Sterling carb has for fuel jet sizes. Can you post that info along with your setup. I want to have an idea of what everybody else has. Right now I have .058 and .063 for jets.

I am running it however sterling and carl set it up. You should ask them, they will know more about the sizes.

Ok so that means you haven't fine tuned it. That's fine then, what I want to know is from the guys that have changed the original setup for the sake of fine tuning.

I will, shortly. You put 0.063 in your primaries? What did you have for secondaries? I had that in my last carb, and it ran way too rich. How did yours run? let me see your sig too.

lol, yea i meant to put my sig. i am boosted. but i ran it like that without the turbo going in the motor. lol, sounds weird i know but it ran pretty nicely. yes, rich as utter hell tho. hahahaha. honestly, i would leave the primaries alone, MAYBE step them up one jet size. open the secondaries up a bit more.

p.s. the sterling carb i have as of now is still in test phases, hence it's not listed in my sig.

Yeah that's exactly my plan. Leave the primaries alone, step the secondaries up one or two sizes and see what happens.

I'd prefer you not continue this. Every engine is different, y'all live at different altitudes and on and on. Too many variables. Your gonna confuse people and they may screw up their carbs and run worse, which kills our rep. Dude, I'm always here to help you, as is Sterling. Customer support after the sale is VERY important to us. You dont need to air this **** out in public. We always respond to customers questions and needs. Also, all the work Sterling and I have done is proprietary and I'd prefer you deal with us directly.

Dude, I'm fully aware that I can count on you and Sterling for tech advice on this. The only purpose of this thread was to give me an idea of what had people done with their sterling carb, jetting wise, compared to their other mods, not to be a substitute for technical advice on how to jet my carb. What's the problem with somebody saying "oh yeah, I had to go 4 jet sizes up on the secondaries on my agressive streetported engine with MSD and full exhaust to reach max power"?

Cause theres alot of variables beyond what you mentioned and I dont want anyone mislead. If we can gather all the major variables, then it becomes more meanigful info. Otherwise it can just end up confusing people at the very least when that trick jetting doesnt work for them. Does that make sense?

Ok fine. It never crossed my mind that somebody would take a jet configuration and try it blindly, but rather they would follow the proper procedure to find the correct jetting for max power. Come to think about it, that's what I did in the past so I guess it can happen. With that said, I'll drop the subject in this thread.

But if any sterling carb owner wants to PM me with their jet sizes and setup, feel free.

Banana boy, lock it up if you so wish.
