Stereo installation

Anyone here put a aftermarket stereo in their rx7? I noticed the stock Stereo is small and i dont think a regular size cd player would fit in its place.I guess I could saw and make the hole bigger...Any suggestions?

Yeah I just got done doing this in my 7. I used this kit http://www.crutchfield.com/S-eyMmp6A....asp?i=176MZ10 Had to make some minor changes on it just cutting off a little extra plastic on the back so it would fit in snuggly but its not like you can see that stuff or anything. It was just little plastic ***** behind it.

there are quite a few forum members that are working on having custom setup made up ... there is also a website that sells them for our cars.

on rotorhead.ca he is selling dash kits. He is still getting them made but I assume they should be done soon, they also add a spot for 3 gauges and a cup holder. I know I have mine ordered =) as for the rest of my stereo, well lets just say I have no room left...
