Steering component questions

I'm going to be redoing my steering a some point this summer.

Everyone says buy the moog idler arm which I get.

But what about the pitman, tie rods and tie rod adjusting sleeves?

Should I go with moog for everything else or are there other brands that are just as good and cheaper? I'm going to be buying through Rock Auto.

Also I want to replace the ball joints. Any brand that is best?

I want parts that will last me many years so I'm willing to spend extra if need be.

People say to go for the Moog idler arm because it has ball joints at both ends of the arm, stock ones have a ball joint and 2 bushings that wear out, so it's more of an upgrade.

All the moog stuff has grease zerks, and a design that flushes out the old stuff when you pump in new stuff. I'm quite happy with everything moog I bought, and it wasn't really any more expensive

as far as ball joints, I dunno. Technically the ball joints are non-replaceable and you are suposed to get all new control arms. My arms were a bit damaged so I got new ones from mazdatrix

I had tie rods that I bought from I think was autozone about 10 years ago on my other car and they had grease zerks. I don't know what brand they are though.

My curent car still has all the original parts and the car has 190k on it. The parts are shot to say the least.

advanced, autozone, pep boys, etc should be able to get what u need. they might have to order some of it tho as they tend to not stock parts that they don't sell everyday. lower ball joints should be a press in item.
