You can adjust the steering column a little bit by manipulating the slotted bracket where the column cover is secured to the dashboard.
I don't know if this amounts to much though.

Hey Bouis;
Any more info on how to correct this Problem without replacing the whole Steering Unit i.e. Out' s and in's Push in Play at the Steeing Wheel.
Other than that the Car Steers Perectly thru the Curves.
There has to be a quick fix or Mod's that can fix it till I have the Money to replace the whole unit.
I know that Mazda designing the later RX's to have a collapsable column and I think that this is the problem with our setups.
AnyHelp i.e. quick fix would be Helpful

If the wheel pushes in and out, what you have to do is get a 1/4" split pin and drill a hole about 7 inches up from the firewall. Drill a bigger hole in the column cover [just the cover] then a 1/4" one through both columns for the pin. Btw, make sure that the wheel is actually where you want it when you do this!
