I've noticed heavy fuel smell everytime refill the tank and wondered about the overflow. Never thought about the canister. Will check into that problem. After all the work I have done it runs much better but still is very hard to start after sitting overnight at times, and even harder if sits up longer. Its either pump the fuel heavilly, many, many times before getting it to fire up, or go straight to using starter spray and it fires right up every time.
