Starting problem. HELP!

I go to start my car, it cranks fine.
It sounds like it starts, and I can hear the starter growling, but I let off the key and it dies.

Then, I go and charge the battery overnight, I go crank it over, it starts, and runs fine.

I let it die, and it won't start back up.

Any ideas? It sounds like a lack of fuel, but I'm officially lost.

Make sure that your fuel filter is clean, then perform a flow test (check the Haynes manual). It could also be a timing issue though...

Will your car run or try to run only if your holding the key in the start position? If so, and the fact that it will start up after letting it sit overnight, sounds like a flooding problem to me. Pull the plugs after a no start and see.
