Ok got an 84 with a 12a just changed the intake gasket. Went to start it, getting spark and good compression,pull the choke no start just turns over. Pulled the choke out again gave it no gas but the plugs were soaked again. Any suggestions out there? Could it be in the carb? The float levels seem ok in ther sight glass Like to get this started before the snow flies.

Details? Ok pulled the carb off before taking off the intake but did not tip it over. Installed new accelerator pump threw it back together and it keeps soaking the plugs with gas. Tried to start it with the choke pulled out just turns over and seems like no fire but its getting good spark. Why is this thing flooding. Thas why its not starting. Possible the floats are sticking causing the flooding?
