starting my fb after a month

what a pain, i started my fb today after a month been sit out side, the first try, i check all the fluid( oil, cooland, gas) turn the swich, dead battery, ok so i have to wait for and hour and a half to recharge it, second try, turning but not starting but with a bunch of smoke coming from the muffler. ok so i asume that there no spark, i pull the sprk plug wire, there was spark. third try same deal turning but no start. i took the spark plug out and they were flooded???? i dont know because i didnt step on the gas pedal. so i clean them up and hope.... fourth try, turn, turn ,turn and is alive, then die. i pull the spark plug again and flooded again????. i clean the spark plug again. fifth try, turn and alive again. with a bad misfiring for the hole warm up and a smoke for about a half a mile. but i got it start. but why i dont get why got flooded? that was my day.

Everytime you turn the ignition on the SE, the fuel pump is at work and if it does not start, subsequent cranking of the engine floods it.
Weird how my car likes to be driven every other day.. thats when shes happiest (:

Oh man I forgot it was a SE, you needed to pull the fuel pump fuse. So you could crank it to get the fuel out of there w/o putting more in it...

No biggie all is well that ends well.

Damn. I'm gonna have a problem starting mine. It's been sitting for about a year and a half, for the same reason... Hasn't been started or moved for a year. Ignitors are shot.
