Yep. You may need to replace it once a year, but it's free. An Al's Auto Supply starter in my REPU is starting to make grinding noises and isn't as fast as my genuine REPU starter in my other REPU. The Al's Auto starter has a slightly smaller field coil housing (same size as a 1st gen), and is a little lighter than the REPU unit, but if it keeps cranking slower and slower, I'll have to replace it. Too bad Al's is out of business.
