Start up/ choke/ warm up/ blue somke?

Is it natural that blue smoke come out the exhuast during the warm up? I put the key in ON, pull choke, start up car, and a lot of blue smoke comes out, while warming up the blue smoke is everywhere until the engine is done warmed up. Is this natural or is there something wrong with my car? The blue smoke is not dark blue, its juss blue enough to see.

Thanks,
Brian

Like they said. In a rotary, oil has a harder time draining back to the pan as in a piston engine. It sits on the rotors and gets past the seals. It burns of when you start the engine.

Yeah..just normal. My car does it too...though only when it's cold out...though a few times during the winter it won't make the blue smoke.

When I had my car in Washington..when temps weren't below 50..it never burned the oil...now that I'm in Illinois where it's like...15 degrees out sometimes...it'll burn....cuz the seals and what not.
