Standard steel wheels?

Hi! (Boy, it's been ages since I posted here!)

I think that I remember that some US-spec RX-7s had steel wheels, as opposed to alloys, from new. What did those wheels look like and were they similar to or the same as other Mazda wheels?

They look simialar to the plus or cross or X wheel (all the same wheel). I dont have a pic though. Maybe Onlyonthurs has an old pic of his car still. I cant remember who else had steel wheels.

Mine were ugly, rusted and bent. I'm glad I got rid of them and replaced them with Panasports along with a spare set of aluminum +s.

They came on the base "S" models. Mine had them, I still have them too, in pretty decent shape with all the center caps. But mine still had the hub caps on them and everything. I don't think anyone else can say that LOL
