Hey Guys,

I m new to the world of carbs. Just have two silly question i m sure has been answered many times. My 79 Rx7 stalls when i stop but only sometimes. I m thinking that the carbs need to be cleaned or something? And when the speedo hits 40 mph i get a weird humming noise from the sterring area. Also the speedo is off need to fix that too. But that should be all. Thanks for the help.

 

That sounds like the dashpot. A lot of people on here seems to be having a similar problem with stalling. If you've got a Haynes manual, check in there, as that manual is heavily 79/80 or SA biased.
