anyway i hahve a 1982 FB, and have just picked up a 1984 FB for parts.
I think since both are standard, the motors are interchangable is this sright? i know thisisnt the case if there was an auto to manual swap ...
Also are the radiators teh same? teh '84 has teh behive oil cooler and the rad looks like it might be taller.. that or teh oil cooler sits lower .
anyone ever make a list of what is and isn't directly compatable between 1st gens?

Two kinds of radiators are installed in the 1st gens. If the oil cooler is installed below the radiator it's a short style. The other is longer and oil cooler is the behive type
