Spitting and Sputtering

So, I finally got my 84 gsl to run, but it idles poorly (sounds like only one rotor) and bogs down a lot until higher rpms.

Some info on the car-
rebuilt dellorto 48 jetted to gruntled.com specs
streetport 12a
relocated battery
dewired as much as possible

I test drove it to the gas station and had to leave it because it refused to move. It would just die when I tried to let the clutch out. Even just idling and playing with the throttle it would try to die out. I couldnt even get it to higher rpms.

Could this be the sign of a bad coil/ignition?

So, I explored a little more today.
I checked fire to all the plugs and it was good. The leading plugs were a little weaker looking.
The plugs themselves looked good, but the front rotor was noticeably lighter in color.
So, I found out that the front rotor isn't firing. When I manually choke the barrel for the front rotor, the engine speeds up. When I manually choke the rear rotor, the car dies. also, the primary from the rear rotor is much hotter than the front rotor, signifying no fire.
I just rebuilt the carb and everything is clean. What else could this point to guys?

Im assuming you looked in the carb while it was trying to idle and saw if the front bowl was overflowing or dripping. This would be a stuck bowl. I honestly dont know how 2 bbl carbs work so cant help much there. Im sure its possible though. Have you swapped coils around or even possibly ignitors (thats a PITA so try coils first). Try that and let us know.
