Speedo is out

My speedo is out at about 5-10 KM

I have 205/60 tires with 13 inch rims, Would this effect it ??

If not or at least by that much, what would it be and how could i fix it with out having to spend a whole lot of money.

If the problem is with your speedometer itself find a functioning one from another car and swap it out.

lol, good one.

Your tire size will most definitely affect your speedometer.
To avoid error, you need to use tires that have the same revolutions per mile as the speedometer is calibrated for. The revs/mile are usually printed on the speedometer, and tire manufacturers usually publish revs/mile specs for their tires.

205/60/13 tires may have a slightly larger diameter than the stock tires, depending on the make and model of tire.
