spark plugs

hey there.. i having a problem with my car right now its an 84 gsl... i don't think that the spark plugs are sparking.. cause i can't get my car started... gas is getting to it so.. i'm thinking its the spark plugs... whats i good and easy why of checking to see if they are sparking

I checked mine by hooking it to a lawn mower and watching for a spark (don't put it in the lawn mower just conect the wire and touch the lawn mower with it, and then turn it over). If it is not your plugs I would check your igniters or coils. I had this same problem and one of my igniters was bad.

disconnect all the wires, pull one plug and attach it to one wire, ground the body of the plug, and crank it... and for god sakes, dont shock yourself (that **** hurts)
