spark plug ? ngk

i recently bought an 85 se and went to change the plugs with some ngk br9eq14 whats reccomended and when i changed them the old ones are ngk bur9eqp well i went to ngk and couldnt find anything. does anyone know anything about these plugs?

Those are second gen trailng platinum plugs... you can use them but you will have to have both the leading and trailing in platinun.. or just go with the second gen ngk regular plugs...or you could use the ones tha are for the 1st gen...

I noticed a loss in performance switching to second gen plugs...The first gen ignition system isn't built for them.

Forgot to mentioned. I have the Jacobs Rotary Energy Pack Electronic Igintion with direct fire setup using a harley davison dual output coil for the leading with 2nd gen plugs. My car runs much better and the sparkplugs last longer too....

i have an 85 se with direct fire with and msd box but i am still running stock dizzy. what do you guys reccomend
