Easy enough (I might think) question:

What are the best plugs to use in my 1985 12A ?
I autocross the car, and it sees some highway driving, that's about it.
I know NGK !!!
I have heard stories that the latest, greatest BR7EIX or BR8 IEX may not be the best for this old school motor (w/ 160 k on her)

Thanks in advance

The owner's manual recommends: BR7EQ14/cold, BR8EQ14/standard, BR9EQ14/hot. Also listed are Nippon Denso plugs: W22EDR14/cold, W25EDR14/standad, W27EDR14/hot. ND plugs were standard from thefactory.

Not familiar with the plugs you listed, where did you find these recommendations?
