I have done many searches in the forum regarding sourcing 12A housings for the 1st Gen. Housings for '79-'85. But to no avail, or I've missed the threads. I have a group of motors here from '79-'85 and will be ripping into a couple of them to rebuild.

I do anticipate the need for housings.

I've read various threads about the replating with Cermet, but was not thrilled by the threads that spoke of the numerous problems with the company and the results. Do the problems still exist? (some of the threads were a year old)
Or, is there another option/company or source? Apparently there is another gentleman/company that maybe has a solution with rechroming them, but it appears they are not able to provide this service at this time, or I've missed the threads.

Any help pointing me in the right direction for a reliable source would be great?
I also need to increase my post count so I can see the sigs for suppliers.
