83 gsl, bone stock

went somewhere, shut it off, started it about 3 hours later and it sounds like it's missing. steady misfire, vibration, won't stay running under 1000 rpms.

question number 2: what type/brand name of oil for premixing?

may have just foulded up a plug. pull all the plugs and check them for fuel/oil and there's your problem

solution? new plugs or if you're a tightass then clean the old ones

Try running some Seafoam through the gas tank. If the problem is a sticking apex seal, that should help free things up nicely...

i replaced spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor and even did the 2gen leading coil conversion to ensure it wasn't the coil. it's still doin it. i did the ghetto compression test and it sounds good there also. i will try the seafoam, thank you.
