somethings not right..

i got some new tires and an alignment this afternoon. The car is great in the twisties (and khumos are really sticky) but when its going strate its all over the place.. i took it on the hightway and its near imposible to safely dive it.. whats up with this???

either:

a) somethings loose / bent / broken or

b) they f#@$ed up your wheel alignment. I wouldn't be suprised to find that they have given you toe-out. Great on turn-in but try to drive it in a straight line at speed - whoa mumma!

yeah! i asked them to adjust the toe-in because of the ware pattern on my old tires..

I'm not sure what the factory specs for toe are - but I would run 2 - 3mm toe in. This should make the car track straight at high speed.

Also ensure that there is no looseness in the tie rods/idler arm/ball joints. These cars are very sensitive to worn steering components.

I know exactly what you are talking about, I drove my car like that for a good 6 months hehe, not good when you are tired and all of the sudden you are coasting into the lane next to yours :P

Sounds like it needs some re-allignment
