something i am getting

hey guys. i am getting a 83 RX-7. the guy is selling it to me for a hundred dollars. there are a few probs though. #1) it doesnt run, but sincei work at pineappleracing, it shouldnt be hard to fix it. #2) i have no trailer to get it home on. and the worst **** #3) its a auto. i know there are people out there who like autos over a 5 speed, but i dont. to do a trani swap, well it owuld take toooo much money. but i gues it will still be a fun car to drive. but for 1983, were all models made with a auto? or was it just a certain model that had it? i would like to know. the guy i ma getting it from said the car was in awsome condiditon,a nd my GFs dad backed that up, so did the guys dad, and my GF, along with ehr lill bro. so is it worth it to get it as a toy, or should i can it. i want truthfull oppinions also please.

Pick up a tranny from the junkyard for 50 bucks. Autos are rare, so locating a transmission is cake.

When you get the junkyard tranny, make sure you get the clutch pedal, spring and the bolt itself that the pedal pivots on! It's different than the one in your car now....also make sure you get the crossmember as it is different, too, but is impossible to tell until you're trying to bolt it in and attach the stick trans to it...
