This piece dropped down the other day was wondering if anyone knows what it is? And maybe why it dropped down, I have not really looked a it yet, might just be a broken old rusty bolt or something...

Mainly I would just like to know what it is, it looks like a motor of something but not sure, my guess is the fuel pump.

 

thats your fuel pump mounting plate. and the puel pump is definatly aftermarket and is nothing i would use... the plate is held up by a few 10mm bolts and a nut.
