ya goofball... The one that is $27 is a single guage pod. The 1st gen one is a dual pod. the 2nd gen dual was $36. Still $6 cheaper, but not as bad as ya thought.

Me<---working out the logistics for my trip to Owensboro in the near future.

Sorry to burst your bubble guys. We have gone over this before.

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...&highlight=VDO

EGauges does NOT have them in stock. VDO was bought by another company and it has been over a year that the FB pods are in stock.

I had previously placed my order, and they emailed me back cancelling it earlier this year.

BTW, TODAY I molded the Autometer Dual FC pod in today with a heat gun. Grand Total of 2 minutes. Just FYI.

back on June 1, I posted...

2 days ago, I called to see if they were back in stock but no luck. Turns out VDO was bought out by another company, and everything has gone to hell.

Autometer makes them for the 2nd Gen. I have a 2nd Gen one and it *almost* fits perfectly, but I will have to take a heat gun to it to make it fit right.

Jimmy54 on the forum has an Autometer one from a CRX, but I don't know how much modification that was. In other words I don't know if it required more or less modifications than an FC Pod.

If you run across a better solution, let me know.

come on over. we're building an rx7 army here in owensboro.

mike, you have to think how many 2nd gens they would sell in comparison to 1st gens. quantity is the key price difference. hahaha, goofball.

Those are easier. Just put the radio in the top hole, and you can put two 52mm gauges on the bottom hole.
