Ok how come everytime I get a 7 it works fine and I dont mess with it and it messes up. Ok this time its the carb. Or fuel pump. THe car will not idle below 2500rpm ive tried everything i know. what would be the cause of this. To low fuel pressure or any other ideas. Also It takes forever to rev above 5000rpm. itl go above that but you have to hold the pedal to the floor and it just kinda moves slowly up in rpms above 5000.

All help is greatly apreciated. That or just call me stupid and jump off a cliff because im to dumb to live.

won't rev above 5K? check ignition both leading and trailing, check to see if vacume advance has been monky f*&cked with or not, and also (of course check for vacume leaks)

Then, vacume check, also are the coil wires on the correct locations on the cap? swapping the leading for the trailing can cause many problems....
