I do the EXACT same thing, sometimes I get a wave, sometimes people are just like "WTF ARE THOSE POP UP HEADLIGHTS?!" because everyone knows pop up lights are totally pimp.

This one goes out to all the people who have helped me with my swap, answered one of my stupid little questions, and put me in my place.

It's hard to dive into a project like this knowing nothing about rotaries, but luckily I found the only source I ever needed, and probably ever will.

Thanks Pimp Daddys!!

The best info on rotory engines, and plain 'ol cars goes out to [ felix wankel ]

My favorite wheel standing 7 from down under [ steve brown ][ajc13b ] hope you got the house you wanted.

Whos got the kind : job,house,wife,rx7,and other toys,:
[directfreak ]

Whos got rx7 heart [ RotorMotorDriver ] i feel like i can trust him.don't ever stop T.J.

My respect goes out to,,: peejay, jeremy, directfreak, badassrx7, felix wankel,mar3,sterling,rx7carl,

And a 'good guy ' goes to Mel [racerX7fb] 'he really is'

,but then, thats just what i think

I can honestly say, that 'if' i had never found this board(forum) my 7(s) would have been sold, a long time ago.
The rx7, the only car the owner HAS to pay attention too. Close attention.. IMO .

Hmmm...
I gotta say PeeJay. But I can't forget the 2 dozen others that have really helped me to understand things, either-

Revhed,
Wankleguy,
Directfreak,
Fatboy,
Felix Wankle,
Jeremy,
Manntis,
Mario,
Carl...
- Oh fuckit.
It would've been easier to try to think of who is'nt a major Rx-7 pimp-daddy!

Ocassionally after I've helped someone with their carb, in an excitement induced high after days of frustration form a no-start situation, they've called me a "guru", or something stupid like that. -I find it disconcerting and inappropriate, and it gets me thinking about all the **** I don't know about.
It feels like I'll be a rotary student forever, and my hat's off to you guys that are so knowledgeable and have accomplished so much.

It's the people that come here for help to start their first rotary, or to install thier first turbo, or to breakdown their first engine that really bring out everybodys MaD sKiLlZ, yO!

Thanks, all you know-it-alls!

My Pimp daddy is the owner of the forum! Without it we wouldn't be chatting.

But on the people side of things... Everyone on the forum who've input/helped/cared. Like others my Rx-7 would've been sold a long time ago, and because of this board, I've owned 5 1st gens.. and next is an 8, but I never forget my heritage!

Thanks All!

Well, pretty much everyone I have spoken to on here has been a really great help and understanding of the newbie-ness in the beginning, still pretty new but happy with the cool bunch of "7" guys I have met here! I have only owned my 7 for 3 months or so and have received more knowledge in here in that short time than any other venture I have undertaken to date. I have to say the best "Stories" have come from Manntis, RotorMotorDriver, and plenty of knowledge and humour from RX7Carl and Mar3. Keep up the humour and good on you more knowledgeable ones to us the untrained. Patience is such a virtue, good on ya's!

well ... yeah ... let me chime in

in terms of my own personal car troubles ... i have to mention Rxcetera and Silverrocket because i would have probably handcuffed myself to the steering wheel, rolled the car off a cliff and thrown a match down the Dell for good measure if they didn't help me out.

however, i've learned SOOOOO much from SOOOO many others - even when they had no idea they were teaching Peejay, Sterling, Manntis, Directfreak, Project84, Jeff20B, Moremazda, Rotormotordriver - man, the list goes on and on and on ...

i just hope i've been able to help someone or impart knowledge/wisdom as the aforementioned have done for me. i'm still learning and that's the BEST part!

for the most part, i have nothing but respect for all who participate, contribute and respect this forum. i can honestly say it's the best one that i'm currently a part of.
