So what's next?
I've got an 85 GSL with 128,000 miles on its 12A and it's my daily driver. I want to restore it but also give it a little more kick *** haha. When I bought it, the manifold was busted and so I had a Pacesetter header (that alright?) put on it along with new pipes to the muffler, and a new idling arm. Haven't done much else besides maintenance, etc.
Just wondering, where should I go from here? I'm probably not going to aim for anything too outrageous, but you know how that is... any suggestions?

Something like that?
Sadly I'm not completely sure what my goals are, I'm a little new to this actually. Trying to learn though!

there's plenty of treads like this, run a couple of searches for "cheap mods" "efficiency mods" "new owner"
usually a couple of inexpensive things that you can do are:
1) rats nest removal (to minimize the amount of things that could go wrong, and make it easier to work on the car).
2) Ignition mod 2nd gen coil. or dlifs. (there's a lot of potential to be gained from this so do your re-search)
3) e-fan (there's an ongoing debate about this being an efficient mod or not, my clutch fan ran all the time, so for me this was a very efficient mod).
4) Lawnmower belt/yoohoo belt, this has helped me a couple of times, just on careless mistakes on my part such as leaving the alternator belt loose, normally that would have been terrible being that the alternator belt also drives the water pump, but thanks to my little 3L22 lawnmower belt my car did not overheat.
that should get you started with some homework.
