i work at circuit city in the roadshop department

 

im 22 and a craftsman welder and machinist (manual and 5 axis CNC), making parts for fighter jets (yes, im a flyboy). and im going to med school.

 

i got 2 jobs woot.......main job car auido/video installer.... 2nd job is at a hot rod shop/ old parts store 1920-1970 parts all nos parts its soon to be 1 of the biggest hot rod shops on the east cost... we also do some rock buggy stuff lol pretty much anything cool we will build it

 

I'm a freshman at Clemson University, I work in Campus Operations where I maintain all the network printers on campus.

 

I really enjoy it, but it really takes a dedicated person to do the job. You have to enjoy what you do, you need to be good with your hands, patient, willing to spend money on tools etc. But it can be alot of fun, every car is like a new puzzle to solve to figure out the problem.

Knowledge, tools, patience are the three main things you need to be a good technician. If it's something your passionate about give it a shot!

I'm 18 and I'm what you could call an "Oil Technician". In other words I change oil. It pays okay and it's decently enjoyable.

 

What's with everybody and their crap answers like, "a nationally-recognized company", "top 10 company", "Fortune 1000 company" or "top 5 company"??.....Y'all ashamed to name them or are they somehow being watched by Homeland Security so you can't put the name on the 'Net??

I work for Crawford & Co. the world's number one independent claims processing company. Basically I do insurance claims handling. Mostly for trucking companies and other commercial and self insured businesses.

I'm really applying my Art (Graphic Design) degree.

I want to become a professional firefighter or possibly a police officer.

Well R&R is very much associated with a lot of racing. Don't think they had anything to do with racing blocks in the 60's but they may have been since R&R has been around for 141 years. Been working in the automotive business since 1927.

 

i scoop ice cream at the udder side, and i sorta work for carmike plaza cinema, but i just havent shown up in like 2 weeks....so i dont really know if i had that job anymore.

heres an example of what i worked on today.



its a 10,000sq ft residential home for some wealthy investor
it has about 5 step downs totaling 30feet and is a son of a bitch cause the ground consists of volcanic rock lol

we poured the footings today with a overhead pump 155yards later and i was beat im no big guy either lol

 

Unemployed I guess and going to school, to make 7 money I started a PC repair buisiness/ebay store, also I guess you could also call me a freelance mechanic. I used to have a real job, but I hate working for other poeple.
