so now on holiday what is the new project?

i finally get to go home for winter holiday, and seeing that my summer job is now overstaffed from stores closing i will have plenty of time to mess with the 7. any suggestions?

if someone wants to get rid of rb header for some extra x-mas money i would love to do that. but anything that can be done either in parts or no more then a week in one sitting of not being able to drive. i want to do the 2gdfis w/ tt but i think my dad got rid of the coils i had, so anyone willing to part let me knwo.

also no project is too crazy, except when it comes to the wallet, as i am still attending marquette university trying to get my mech- engineering degree

thanks guys

If you put on the RB header, you'll have to remove some of the emissions from the car. SO...yeah...it's kind of screwed either way. You could look into doing the DLIDFIS system or convertion the OMP over to 2cycle and adding a 2 cycle resevior to the engine bay.

I think, I may be wrong, that DLIDFIS may help clean up your emissions a bit due to the stronger spark.

The two cycle conversion is nice as well because you stop burning crankcase oil and you can then start putting synthetics in the crank and 2 cycle in through the OMP.

Detail the engine bay. Take out all those little brackets/parts,etc, and renew them, battery tray and radiator mounting shroud included. Go over the entire car with a fine tooth comb and look for any potential problems and address them. Hoses, leaks, rust spots, loose/missing nuts and bolts.

When was the last time you flushed and renewed fluids? Brakes, cooling system, tranny and diff? Checked your brake pads/shoes lately, tierods, idler arm, along with the grease boots, lubed them if they have zerts? Checked the wheel bearings for play and correct torque?

Not specifically, but there are several writeups in the forums about it, just use the search function and you're on your way to bliss.
