So I'm making the following things for my car...

... and I want to know if anyone is remotely interested in getting the same thing for theirs:

Lexan covered flush mounted headlights
Kickpanels with spacers to fit either 5 1/4" or 6 1/2" speakers...
Subwoofer enclosure which will fit at the back of the hatch without killing all the space or being terribly noticeable. Probably will fit a single 10" sub.
Rear spoiler
Front lip/spoiler/airdam/something
Rear skirt
Side skirts
Depending on where I mount my intercooler, there could be a hood project. We'll see.

If anyone is interested, let me know so I can keep you in the loop on designs and what not.

I'm interested very much in almost everything. I'm not doing any sound in my car, so the speaker stuff does not interest me.

I'm a bit into fiberglass work, so let me know what your planning, I'm willing to help if needed.

You talking about selling this stuff or writing how to's?

I'm very interested in flush mount lights.

I would be interested in seeing where you put this subwoofer enclosure. I have been thinking of adding one 10" sub, but don't want to just set a large obstruction in the back.

It's my goal to have it so you can't even tell it's there. I was originally going to put it where the storage bins were, but I've heard the sound is shitty there, and that's also where my nitrous bottle is going to go. I'll have a mock-up of the sub enclosure probably tomorrow. I have to remove the headlights to make a mock-up of the light fixtures, then I can put that up, too.

If it's my exclusive design (airdam, rear spoiler, that kind of thing) I'll probably sell them. If it's something that everyone kinda wants (the kickpanels), it's probably going to be how-tos. Or a combo of both. Those who want to do it themselves can, those who want it, but either can't do it themselves or don't want to, then maybe I'd sell 'em.

I'll be keeping track of the body mods you'll be doing. I don't plan on going quite as far as you; I want to make a fiberglass front airdam, and a pretty standard rear lip spoiler like I see on a lot of 7's. The first thing I'll be doing is some hood modifications, I'm changing my intercooler setup to what I guess you call a V-mount, and I want a drop vent towards the front of the hood (kinda like what steve84gsTII has) to ensure plenty of flow. Good luck with your adventures! I'm a little intimidated by fiberglass, so make sure your how-to's are top notch!

We're going to have choices soon, I'm working on several fiberglass pieces including hood, TII hood, sunroof, body kit, gauge pillar, console with cup holder.....and more.

Keep an eye out.

I am very interested in the Flush Headlights and I may consider a new front end. I will take a look at how to do some headlights as well.

I've got an idea instead that'll take up NO room (it might've already been done though). What about making a Sub box that will fit inside one of the storage bins behind the front seats? If you were to make on of those i would be very interested.

-btw 1st post, lovin' the site, helped me a lot.

I explained that earlier: Sound quality there leaves a LOT to be desired, and that's where my nitrous bottle is going, as well as my battery. I had to find a different solution, and I think this is it.

My chocolate lab peed on them. That's what happens when you leave stuff outside to dry and forget about them.

Your sub box idea sounds like exactly the route I want to go. Right at the back of the hatch, put a grill over the sub itself so that you can put stuff on it if you have to, and make it so that it doesn't kill all the space and isn't totally noticable.

When you make yours, let me know, I'd probably be interested in buying one off ya.

Jon
