so.....i kinda painted myself yellow today......oops
so i got my grubby little paws on the mazdatrix body pieces (originally the pacific kit)for my seven for an amazing price. anyhow this is how they looked when i got them (well the rear and sides anyhow)
so after much and i mean MUCH sanding i got all the silver paint off.
and it was time for primer. so of course all day today there was absolutely no wind at all. i was outside all morning washing claying and waxing the sentra (more to follow on this) and not a god damn bit of wind. so i head down to the shop. still no wind when i get there. i pour the appropriate amount of primer in the mixing container still no wind. i add the appropriate amount of reducer still no wind. then i pour in the activator and BAM its windy as hell. no choice now but to spray anyhow.
so after a whole bunch of primer going all over me this was the result
front:
sides and rear:
now back to the sentra......holy hell its amazing what a clay bar will do......
so tomorrow i will wash clay and wax the 7 and then i will go do the final sand on the front and sides and the initial sand on the rear and hopefully there will be no wind so i can respray the rear.

Some guy at a tire shop was selling a Sentra SE-R just like that one except for black a few weeks ago. The guy didn't know anything about cars and was selling it for $1,500. It had a slipping clutch and he didn't feel like repairing it.
How much are those cars worth?
Where are the pics of your yellow hands/shirt or pants?

lol mine is an se-r spec v so depending if it was an se-r or a spec v would change the price. also are you sure it wasnt a base model? or a salvage title? even still probably around 9k depending on year and condition and trim level.
also mine is hard to price due to everything done to it. the turbo kit alone goes for over $5k

spec v is underneath the SE-R emblem isn't? It might have been. I kept thinking "isn't it V-spec?"
I didn't check out the car entirely, but the emblems did look authentic. He said it had a six cylinder.
Pics?

pics of?
and no its a 4cyl it has the qr25de motor in it (probably the worst nissan motor to date)
the fastest way to figure it out is to check out the transmission. the spec v only came in a 6 speed manual.
there is a base model rolling around my town with spec v badges on it. little dumbshit tried to race me one day. he apparently caught me in a mood cuz i destroyed him. not only did i have substantially more power than a base model stock but i was already turbo at tis point and yeah he had no chance

oh i already showered and the shirt i was wearing was already yellow.
yeah im guessing the car was a base model with spec badging in it.
either way the car na was fun but boosted omg its awesome. the only thing wrong with it is its wrong wheel drive and the motor sucks. but ill be fixing that issue soon enough. but the car always puts a smile on my face.
