Finally painted last thursday....they missed prepping the header panel and missed some door jambs so they've still got some work to do...this has been 8 weeks now. I want it back.

Color looks to be lighter than the stock brown....

that kinda looks like a mid-80s firebird with firebird red... guess its the clearcoat bringing out the red in the brown...

 

Beautiful.. Does not look stock though..hmm. I don't have ***** like you I am going from brown to some other color.

 

Yeah maybe it's the clearcoat...maybe they fucked up the formula...I don't know, they said they pulled the code from the book..whatever that means. Too late to do anything about it now. Like I said the car has been in the shop 8 weeks, after an intial estimate of 3-4 weeks and I just want the damn car back!

here's another...the camera doesn't seem to want to focus very well. I'll get some really clean pics up once it is all put back together...

 

It's just the lights, and the fact that it's shiny. I've seen people take pictures before and it look completley different...it looks great though.

 

Don't get me wrong it looks FANTASTIC! It does just seem a few shades lighter then stock brown.

I don't think I ever seen a shiny brown in my life. They're all faded by now. Looks good. Keep it original. Make sure to post pics when you're done.
