Will anything happen i were to take off the belt off my smog pump? That would only leave me with just the belt to the alternater because i took the ac belt off. Just wanted to know if it would mess anything up..

If you're refering to the belt for the air pump, I took mine off about three weeks ago along with the ac belt and my car runs just fine.

So is the air pump just basically for emissions only because if it is i don't need because we don't have tests here for that! thanks alot

since i dont have to get emissions ever, can i remove the whole pump and all the hoses?

yeah if you do NOT have emissions you can remove the air pump, ratsnest, acv and all the emissions shabang!

The cat will clog up and you'll lose power. This will happen over a long time and you won't notice it.

The alt belt will also slip at high rpm.
