I bought a sk carb which uses weber jets, emision tubes etc.
its a side draft. engine is s5 6 port.
Im using fi pump inline with holley reg.
The car starts, but idles high lowest i got was 1800 rpm.
if i rev it a lil and let go the rpm get to 4k says there for 5 sec then goes down.
if a give a lil gas it floods and dies.

What would be causing this problem? thanks in advance.

Should i play with timing? I cant find a way to adjust accelarator pump.

it has 215 air, 170 main fuel, 45f4,

I checked the jets, and niddles for dirt, checked flowt levels. its getting 3 psi fuel.

There is a hose connector which is for choke, i left it open. i checked for vac leaks also.

 

sounds like it needs a throttle return spring

no idea about the main jets but the idle jets sure look small. most people use 60-70 idle fuels.

 

If your Holley fpr is the non-return style, get one that is. Your's not designed for FI pumps.
