All,

I'm looking to purchase a 1982 RX-7. The car has been sitting for quite a while. What can I do to reasonably check the engine condition, primarily the apex seals? I'm assuming the best I can do is a compression check. Is there anything else I can do to protect myself in the purchase with regard to the engine?
