after your take the old fan off there will be this shitty looking aluminum spacer/bracket thing on your water pump held on by 4 10mm bolts. take it off and get some bolts that are a little shorter, i think someone said oil pan bolts are the right lenghth, to hold your water pump pulley together. will give you a much cleaner look.

I put a "flat" electric fan from a junk yard eagle something or other. Then I bought 4 small metric bolts from the local parts store for like $4 total. Then I installed a radiator foam pad where the fan meets the radiator, and then I used quick ties to hold it down. I wired it directly to the Ignition to run when the key is on. It makes a HP difference that you can feel plus it cools so much better. Heres the Parts list rundown:
Electric Fan From Junk Yard $35
8' Radiator Foam 2" wide $ 6
4 Small Metric Bolts $ 4
Total $45
PM me if you got any questions, about the setup.

You can get a dirt cheap adjustable thermostat controller from Autozone for like 18 bucks. That's what I used and it works great....
