simple turbo setup

great. I think that I will do the front mount oill cooler swap to be on the safe side, and then not worry about it.
How will the oil to the turbo work? Are the fittings easy to come by? Where would I get the oil source? Will I need to run lines from the oil filter mount or maybe from the outlets on the front of the engine? And if I remeber correctly the s5 turbo uses water for cooling too. How have you guys gotten the water there? Thanks guys

i don't use the water cooling. Oil only. i get my oil feed source from where the Oil Pressure Sending Unit comes out of the block. i just got a little adaptor to TEE off of. i run a -6 feed and -12an return right down to the front cover. for the fittings on the turbo just get a 1/8" and 1/2" tap. then just run pipe fittings directly in the turbo. works great.

Hey, you don't even want to bother with this, man. If you do this, it'll have grave consequences! Like me not being the fastest first gen in town O_O
I'm kidding man. If you need any help with this, give me a call.

sounds good Jay thanks
And about the lines. Sounds simple enough. Looks like I can get all the fittings pretty easily too.
Thanks for all the help guys. Looks like this thread is about dead. Thanks again, and I will keep you all updated on the progress!
